Zur Post in Poecking

Good service, nice staff and good facilities for the price. I was here on business during the lockdown and felt that I was in good hands.

We picked up the Christmas duck with dumplings and red cabbage, and it was the best duck I have eaten in a long time.

Down-to-earth food a bit expensive, but there is also a selection of dishes out of the row. We were offered a menu although something was eaten at the next table that wasn't on our menu. Staff always friendly. Would go again.

Very good food

We went to the Gasthof Zur Post on October 5th, 2020. We had extra wishes that were all met. All 4 dishes were of high quality. The portions very large (perhaps you should prepare a slightly smaller portion for the ladies. But that is now the highest level of whining). The innkeepers are very charming, the atmosphere is what you would imagine a Bavarian inn to be. The prices were definitely reasonable.

Not to be recommended !! Far too little equipment for the price, room service not possible as there was no telephone in the room! No kettle in the room which should meet a certain standard! There has been a double bed since the pension opened! Pre-ordered baby bed was only brought into the room after my request, in the bathroom upstairs on the ceiling the wall and cobwebs come loose ... Pfuiiii unfortunately was also very dusty, after which I wanted to point this out to the boss when paying neither insightful nor shocked, he didn't care! Just a rude WE CLEAN EVERY day came out of his mouth! Take cleaning equipment including a feather duster with you! Take standard renovation tools (spatula, gibs, hammer, etc.) with you! Not to be recommended!

You can sit comfortably in two dining rooms or in the small beer garden. The decor is old Bavarian. Wooden ceiling, wooden floorboards. On the walls there are historical photos and very old artfully designed targets. The boss helps, the boss is in the kitchen. There, the first-class dishes are brought to the plate. Cooking is healthy. Nothing out of the can. Everything fresh. And you can taste it! Old dishes are prepared according to modern principles. I should definitely mention the friendliness of the service. We spent wonderful hours in the inn and went home satisfied.

No Oktoberfest, anyway to Bavaria. To eat something real in the evening and then pitch it here. A nice and quaint, very clean inn with nice and fast service. We ate roast pork, lamb knuckle and hunter schnitzel. The food was delicious, in terms of the amount it could have been a little more. Despite everything, we would like to come back.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but Ötzi certainly had the roast pork in his luggage. Sports restaurant was significantly more delicious and not far away. A few days later I was there again. The grill plate tore it out again👍

A very pleasant place to really relax. Very good food at reasonable prices and the service staff are all very attentive and friendly. Grade 1 A!

We'd love to come back here. Nice rooms, good cuisine. Nice friendly staff in the owner-managed company. Recommendable.

We stayed at this cozy Gasthof zur Post for one night while passing through. Despite the late arrival, we were warmly welcomed and we were also well fed. The food and breakfast were really good and plentiful. Extra requests would also be accommodated. The room had large and comfortable beds and was very clean as was the dining room. We would like to thank the Poelt family and their team again for the attention they have shown us. We would be happy to come back. Sincerely the Warncke-Schulz family

Very good food and friendly staff, great I recommend

The hotel is old school but very clean and nice. The staff is super nice. The breakfast was great. Only the food offered in the restaurant is a bit expensive and rather average. Therefore 1 star deduction.

Old noisy rooms and slow internet doesn't go open the site

We spent a week in one of the cozy and spacious holiday apartments. Highly recommended for families. The food in the inn is excellent, we were always very satisfied. And the chocolate mousse was a dream! The hosts are very, very nice and courteous, as are the rest of the staff. We will come back!
